Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church started in October 2003 with a handful of folks, and we now average

around 125 people per week!

God has been very good to us and our gatherings have been an enormous blessing in so many lives.

We’d love for you to join us. It’s nothing fancy ~ our motto is “cowboy and cowgirl up and come as you are !” We promise you will have a good time as we share the word of God,

and enjoy great singers.

We do things a little different for sure…

We have a bucket hanging at the entrance rather than passing an offering plate.  We use most of the money we raise to help folks in need rather than paying a mortgage.

We have baptisms in a stock tank during our services.

Oh ~ and another big difference between the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church and most other places of worship is that our services are held in a building that is home to

a livestock auction during weekdays.

just like the farmer who plants seed for an abundant harvest, our principal task is to Plant the seeds of salvation.  We accept the God-given responsibility of “speaking the truth in love” and strive for the growth of the church and glory of the Lord, rather than the praise and honor of men.  salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works.

Our Pastor

Pastor Kelly and Sue Cronkhite have lived in Enid area most of their lives.  He came to Nash for his last two years of High School and met Sue.  They were married in 1986 and have 4 children.  Kelly has been a Youth Pastor, an Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor since beginning in ministry in 1991  In 2004 God began to birth a vision to minister in Cowboy Churches and through outreach events like roping, barrel racing and Jr. Rodeo events.  Kelly has ministered at these events and in several Cowboy Churches as God has opened doors.  His upbeat and encouraging message connects with those from country roots, even if they don't work in cowboy boots daily.

Kelly also Pastors the Carrier Congregational Church in Carrier, OK.
